Collaboration in Times of a Pandemic
Reflections on a Student Exchange between the University of Namibia and the University of Bayreuth
Student blog entry
At the University of Bayreuth (UBT), all MA students in anthropology and African Studies have a unique opportunity to do fieldwork abroad, preferably in a country in Africa. Last year's research was to be thought as a collaboration with students from the University of Namibia (UNAM) that students could learn from one another through peer exchange about their individual projects. However, as the first wave of the pandemic hit, already made plans had to be adapted as traveling was not possible anymore. The UBT and UNAM students started to write a blog about their experiences with this new situation. Please find the detailed entry here.
