Teaching Research

An integral part of both master's programmes offered by the Department of Cultural and Social Anthropology is the approximately two-months of teaching research - field research led by lecturers, intensively prepared and followed up, and conducted at varying locations and on thematic complexes that change every year. Ideally, the data collected during these research stays is used by students in preparing their final thesis. Moreover, students of our master's programmes receive financial support for their training research component.
